The major event of the Oil and Gas Industry ended The Eleventh Edition of Argentina Oil & Gas Expo has come to its end, with over 23,000 visitors
In this third and last CEOs Meeting, held within the scope of Argentina Oil & Gas Expo, the panel was formed by the key leaders of Exxon, Wintershall Energía and Pan American Energy.
Daniel De Nigris (General Manager - Exxon), highlighted: “We are optimistic, we are undergoing a period of changes and it is already possible to see the first signs. We are in a transition phase towards international market prices, governed by supply and demand”.
Gustavo Albrecht (Managing Director - Wintershall Energía), announced: “We have made a Discovery in the Neuquen basin. It is still in the testing stage”.
Finally, Richard Spies (CEO - Pan American Energy), said: “The industry is emerging, first steps are being made. It is important to incorporate new technologies, the young professionals are mastering this”.
During 4 days, 322 Exhibitors from 17 countries presented the latest novelties of the hydrocarbon industry. In parallel to the show, the 3rd Latin American and Caribbean Congress on Drilling, Completion, Repair & Well Service was held and on Monday, the 3rd edition of the JOG3 Talks – Oil and Gas Young Professional with the participation of more than 300 young professionals. Besides, there were 55 Exhibitors’ conferences and over 900 business meetings with 17 foreign buyers from Bolivia, Colombia, Mexico and Peru.
Eng. Ernesto López Anadón, IAPG’s President, stated: “After these days, my feeling is that something is happening, we are at an inflexion point in the industry. This is a burgeoning sector, constantly adding technology, which is very rewarding”.
Argentina Oil & Gas Expo is organized by IAPG and carried out and commercialized together with Messe Frankfurt Argentina. The eleventh Edition of the show takes place between September 25th and 28 th, 2017 at La Rural Trade Center in Buenos Aires. The next Edition of the show will be held between September 23rd through 26th at La Rural Trade Center, in Buenos Aires.
